In October 2022, MGA Counselling Services expanded to Lilydale, opening in a new office space called “The Well.” This warm and welcoming environment is shared with the supportive teams from Choice Mental Health and Elisha Care.

The Well is designed to be a safe and comforting space for all who visit. For children, teens, and others who benefit from sensory support, there are therapy bears and a variety of fidget toys. Additionally, we provide a range of creative tools like markers, pencils, crayons, clay, and visual aids for those who find artistic expression an important part of their therapeutic process.

At MGA Counselling, we offer Nature and Forest Therapy to all clients. We’re fortunate to have access to nearby natural spaces such as the Yarra Valley Trail on Beresford Road, Olinda Creek Trail, and Lilydale Lake, all within a short distance.

The Well features a shared waiting room, restroom, and a small kitchen area where you can make tea or coffee. Please note, the waiting room is not monitored, so we ask that you text your counsellor upon arrival. They will either meet you in the waiting area or, if you prefer, let you know when it’s time to come in from your car.

The Well is equipped with disability access. If you have specific accessibility needs, please discuss them with your counsellor when scheduling your initial appointment.

Using Public Transport

Suburbs within a ten kilometre radius include Chirnside Park, Coldstream, Mount Evelyn Croydon North, Mooroolbark, and Wonga Park South ,

Public Transport options are a 12 minute walk from Lilydale Train Station

Bus route 663, 670 and 677 all go past Beresford Road.

There is disability access to The Well, but please speak to your counsellor about your specific needs when booking initial appointment.
