Counselling in Warrandyte
In June 2022, MGA Counselling Services, incorporating Forest Therapy Victoria and Nature Play 4 Kids, opened in the bushy surrounds of Warrandyte.
The Life Therapies Victoria Centre is located just off the main street of Warrandyte, with a view over the Yarra River. Kangaroos, echidnas, deer, cockatoos, rosellas, lorikeets, and some cheeky Kookaburras are our neighbours, making their home in the adjacent Warrandyte State Forest.
It’s proximity to the Yarra River and Whipstick Gully Walking Tracks means that sessions can be held outside on request (weather permitting).
Please note that the Life Therapies Victoria Centre can be tricky to find the first time, so be sure to check the map priort to arrival.
Directions
The Life Therapies Victoria Centre is located in the beautiful township of Warrandyte, surrounded by the Warrandyte State Forest. Native birds are frequent visitors to our balcony, and the Yarra River flows past just a few hundred metres away.
If you’re planning to come for a face to face session, please read the instructions carefully and check the map as it can be tricky to find.
We’re behind the Now and Not Yet Cafe, 148-150 Yarra Street Warrandyte, however the entrance to our driveway is off Webb Street.
Parking is available in the Community Centre off Webb Street or in any of the free car parking bays around the township. Please do not park in the spaces either side of our building as these are private property.
If you get lost, give your counsellor a call! They will come out to find you!
Suburbs within a ten kilometre radius include North Warrandyte, Warrandyte South, Wonga Park, Warranwood, Park Orchards, Kangaroo Ground, Research, Ringwood North, Croydon Hills, Donvale, Bend of Islands, Eltham, Croydon North, Doncaster East, Watsons Creek, Templestowe, Chrinside Park, Ringwood, Ringwood East, Wattle Glen, Mitcham North, Mitcham, and Heathmont.
The Life therapies Victoria Centre can be accessed from Croydon Station or Ringwood Station via bus route 364.
There is a ramp down to the front door of the centre, but the age of the building means that disability access is limited. .
