Counselling in Hobart

The room is a shared space with the friendly folk at Hobart City Church of Christ.

The room is a welcoming and culturally safe place for clients to share their life experiences. There is a range of sensory tools, markers, pencils and crayons available for those adults, teens and children who like to use them as part of their therapeutic process.

The building is located at the west end of Liverpool Street, which is a 300 metre walk from the city centre. There is coffee and tea making facilities in the room. There is a shared waiting room and bathroom.

Please text your counsellor upon arrival at the entrance and they will come and get you.

If you would like to grab a coffee and a bite to eat before or after your counselling session, “Straight Up Coffee + Food” which is well-known for their gluten free and vegetarian food, is across the road from the room.

500 metres away from the room is the Hobart Rivulet Park, which is a beautiful, picturesque walk.  If you prefer your counselling sessions to be outdoors, this can be arranged weather permitting.

Situated at entrance of Hobart rivulet park is “Hamlet” a social enterprise eatery which is renowned for their in-house bread, butter, cheese and preserves.

Centrepoint Car Park is a 300 metre walk from Hobart rooms. The first hour of parking is free.
